Some time ago, in the sweltering heat of Miami, FL,

two do-it-all super moms decided that women need more out of their athleisure and loungewear. Tired of having to decide between comfort, style, and budget, founders Audrey and Caroline (Caro) started Coquette on the premise that looking cute and feeling comfy shouldn't break the bank, nor should it be difficult to find a brand that achieves this with quality pieces.

DO I KNOW YOU?

Audrey and Caro met in high school when Caro began dating her now husband who happens to be a childhood friend of Audrey's.

According to Caro, her and Audrey actually met before this, but Audrey has no recollection of meeting Caro before she started dating her friend (awkward). Needless to say, this made for a not-so-great start to their friendship.

Audrey and Caro's friendship quickly overcame its awkward beginnings, growing fruitfully during some of life's most beautiful moments: finding love, building careers, having fun, marriage (they were each other's bridesmaids!), and starting their families.

THE WORKING MOM ERA

Soon after Audrey began working as a licensed esthetician, she opened up her own business, The Parlour, one of the top-rated spas in the city. On the other side of town, Caro was working as an oncology nurse in one of the nation's leading hospitals.

They were booked, busy and thriving, but life was about to get a lot busier, and a lot more beautiful, as both ladies welcomed two babies to the world, ushering in a chapter of family gatherings and vacations together!
